Hello Lovelies!
How was your summer? I hope that you got plenty of sun, had tons of fun, and went somewhere amazing. Travel is a big part of my life and this year I jumped back in with both feet. Visiting new places cultivates growth; new experiences in culture, food, people, art, music and it changes you forever. I love going to new places but also revisiting my favorites too.
This year alone I traveled to San Francisco, New York 3 times, Dominican Republic, New Orleans, Miami 3 times, Myrtle Beach is next month, and Vegas in December. Rome is still on the table as well. While I like visiting my local haunts in DC, VA, and Baltimore (Annapolis is beautiful), I love getting on a plane and going somewhere.
My birthday is in June, this year I celebrated my 44th, and I have revived my annual trip to Miami with fellow Geminis and friends that enjoy great weather, amazing food, and spectacular people. We usually start planning around February or March as to what dates were going, where we are staying, and who’s in. I haven’t graduated to just rolling up to the airport and jumping on the next plane going out since I have children and a grandchild, for now having a plan works best. The best thing is that we have so many ways now to document the memories.
